Well looks like the courts of brazille are still being jerks with the american boy.... maybe we need to send janet reno down there with a swat team like she did with that little cuban boy in Floriday all those years ago?
The mom is dead and he has a living bio dad that wants him.. But I wonder? How was his relation ship with the kid after his wife moved to Brazille? Even the dad said he hadnt spoken with the kid since June of this year... thats a long time, was the step dad and grand parents keeping the kid from the phone?
Its tough on all accounts.. but one good thing.. this kid is wanted by so many people... very rare really.. look at the 1000's of kids in foster care or the millions who are abused and unwanted.... this kid in many ways is very lucky

Abortion Anyone
Lets chat about it?
I think its wrong and awful.. But do I feel I have the right to stop a woman from having one? No, I dont think I do.
I dont think any woman thinks that an abortion is a good thing... They are awful and wrong, but maybe a justifed wrong?
When is to late to have one? The pro choice folks? What do you say, at what point is it to late to have one? Obviously if the life of the mother is in jepordy do it when necessary....
But really? If all is normal persay, when is it to late? I want a Pro Choice perspective?
A pro life person will say after the moment of conception... I sorta agree..but not really.
I tried to have this conversation with my sister years ago and she shot me down say that I have no buisness even discussing it since it will never be an issue for me as a man.
I thought and still think that its every mans responsibility to stand up and be heard.. especially when he might the father of that child...
Yes its the women who have the final word being that its thier body, but to totaly avoid liseting to a man because he will never be able to have children..well thats just wrong as well.

Ooops looks like we have people on the run.. can you picture it? Little island people running from the Big Kahuna lol....
Wonder if they will rebuild the grass huts that get melted? Its like flood plains in the midwest along the mississippy river... it floods almost every year and yet stupid people still move back.....and we get stuck paying for it...
or the people in LA who got flooded.. its a natural flood zone, only being kept back by man made walls... sucks for sure but jeesh just move to higher ground..stop playing the victim

Dow Jumps 100 points? Come on, why are paying attention every single day... a watched pot never boiles.....it only makes sense for day traders to watch so closely every day/second....
For the average american/investor you only look periodically....remember its over the long run that the performance is actually judged.. not on daily snap shot..jeesh

Christmas is almost here-lord help me
Howdy all,
Well its Sunday night and im about ready to call it a night. I think I have prepared for the onslaught that is heading my way starting on Wednesday night. Mother arrives late Wednesday night from IL, Sister and Brother arrive seperately on Saturday afternoon. We will do presents on Sunday morning and cook dinner then as well.
I wonder if our policians will actually stay in DC for a vote on Christmas Eve? Even I have a bit of simpathy for their families back in thier home states. But we will see
Anyone have thoughts on this? Do we require them to stay and get the health care bill passed? Does this particular health care bill actually meet the standards or needs so much that we must pass it by weeks end?
My Maryln has been hangin out with me all day today, really luck to have her these days. Actually brings a bit of light into my life.
Im only going to work 3 days this week and even leave early on Wednesday so I can prepare for mother.. Vodka shots anyone?
Na, im kidding, I think she will be fine, although I do worry about the 2 street corners in my neighborhood. So much crack on the street, she might get tempted.. Lets hope not for my sake cause I will go ape shit if she pulls something.
Not to mention that her getting into trouble here where I live could cause me trouble with work.....
Plus she is already talking about moving here to CA in a few years.. that scares me a bit... Sister and Brother wont and or cant help take care of it and I cant/wont say no.
But she lives in a hovel right now because of her low income.. Sorta dont know what to do. I dont have a life as it is now but it will be even worse if she moves in with me... me 32 years old and having his spinster mother living with him lol... can we say weird lol

Another Dead actor?
Ok, I just logged on to CNN.com and I saw that B Murphy died today at age 32? Obviously we dont know the reason yet but im sure some will speculate? Suicide? Over Dose? Natural Causes? Hmmmm one can only wonder? Or should we wonder?
Another dead young girl... always sad when anyone dies, dont you think? Does putting her name and face up all over the news make the loss for her family any more real or any more easier? Only they can know really....
I will say I really digged her in "Just Married", she had me rolling in my chair when I saw it....
Sad, but lets not forget the non famous men and women that die, get murdered or kill them selves every day.... If the folks who spend thier time disecting her death would spend 1/2 that time helping others the world would be a better place... And I can preach my soap box because I do voulenteer at a shelte, soup kitchen and a suicide hotline at least 2 times per month.
Can you imagine if everyone voulenteered for at least 4 hours a month? 1 day a month? The streets would be clean, the homeless would be fed and clothed, there would hardly be any crime..... Why dont we do these things? Because were all fat, lazy, greedy and only going down hill from here.

US GOV? Where are my windmills and solar panels, nuclear plants? If we can spend 1 trillion to bail out banks, we can spend a lot on solar, nuclear
We have 300 million in the US now right?
Divide 1 trillion by 300 million
what do you get? Well my windows vista calculator gives me $3333.33 per person.
Had we gotten that money the recession would have been over. With americans fondess of spending every dime they have, that money would have gone right back into the financial system.... Doomsday would have been saved
We would have bought tvs, ipods, movie tickets, dinners at the olive garden
But no, we need to spend that money on banks who wont lend... We have to spend money in iraq and afganistan that both have corrupt goverments that we installed.
NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THIER DOING.. its all a crap shoot.
Do you really think Bernake actually understands the financial crisis? Even actaul wallstreet people cant wrap their greedy heads around it.
We all wanted houses, banks wanted us to borrow money, banks wanted to make money, wallstreet wanted to find new ways to make even more money.......If wallstreet and the us gov actually ran them selves like a real busniess, well any accountant would probably say "Time to put up the "Going Out of Business" Sign".
We should have lets the banks fail and let the market correct it self. yes people would have lost jobs and other stuff, but maybe with the 1 trillion that we spend on bank, we could have spent it on the those who actually needed it?
Like I said before, NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THIER DOING or how to fix it.... Im not for doing nothing... Even sitting back and letting things fail is actually doing something. Economists will tell you that there is a natural eb and flow to the markets, things happen for a reason.
I love the fact that we get excited every day when the DOW climbs up 2 points or we all screem in terror when it drops 6 points.... Its funny how the News media is actually creating the news now with this stuff.. Wolf Blitzer is the worst I think...."something has fallen out of the truck of Joe Biden" I think he said, what could it be? A note? A body? Hillary? oh my god, lets create so more news, what fell out of the truck......
I like me some aderson cooper and Madow but the news is getting depressing because its all hyped up. Tiger is all they talk about when its not health care or the stimulas package....

Health care clears hurdle? Such Crap
Ok my brain is starting to hurt with all the BS on tv right now. I am avid watcher of Cnn, Msnbc and even Fox. And yesterday and today all the talk was about Sen Nelson and Sen Liberman and how they are either holding up health care or now clearing some hurdle.
let me say first that I am a lucky person because I have a great full time gig that pays 100% of my health coverage - the normal co-pay at the Dr office and a small co pay for perscription.
Unlike the millions with out health insurance or the other that pay through the nose, it irritates the hell out of me listening to our politicians debate this.
Even John Mccain said that Health care was a Right, he said during the election at either a debate or on letterman, dont remember.
How can so many in our goverment think that getting health care to everyone is a bad idea? Im not an expert or anything or a financial guru but good lord man, when you sick and someone says we could help you but since you dont have any insurance and cant pay for it your self, well your gonna have to die. Sorry, hope ya get better.
And I am not for free health care for all, we should pay for it. If my employeer came to me right now and said hey Micahel, times are tough, we need you and all of the employees to start paying a portion of thier premium. I would say no problem I understand. I am not rich by an means so paying out of pocket now will hurt me a little but not to the point of making me go broke. I may just skip a high class dinner at Carls Jr next week. Or skip my morning trip to Starbucks every now and then.
How can we as americans let other americans suffer for no reason? Why? Because were all selvefish, greedy, self absorbed, fat and lazy people.
We buy to much stuff, we need to much stuff for no good reason. We waste money on the dumbest stuff. Ever been to "Spencers Gifts"? Like we need any of that stuff? Nope, but we want it cause its neat, cool and stupid.
When was the last time you actually talked to your neighbor? Live in a apartment building? Anything more than a Hi, Morning, how ya doin? from your neighbors in the hall? Probably not. Why? Because we dont care about each other any more.
Its all about me, me me and my stuff, my money, my life. I dont remember who said this but someone did. "We only begin to change when we are faced with the end". Or something like that.
Things are not going to get better until we hit rock bottom and I dont think we have yet. The health care thing will pass, but its been so watered down at this point I dont think its going to make a substantial change.
They took out the thing about insurance companies not being able to put a cap on coverage. So if my insurance plan allows for 1 million $'s in coverage, and they think my bill will hit 1 million and 10 dollars? I will get denied coverage for that operation or whatever else I might not need? Same as before, Oh sorry your just gonna have to die... sorry
And seing these senators and congressmen/women talk on tv every night about how health care reform will bankrupt our children. Well we have bankrupted our children with every president and every congress. Every year we spend more and more. That crazy lady Michelle Bachman was praying for health care reform to fail.
other senators were praying for it as well (Saw it on Rachel Madow).
My god (and I do believe in in god) these people are nuts? How do these people get elected? And its not just the Republicans, we got some crazy dems Pelosi and Reid seem to be pretty damn nuts them selves. Always trying to please everyone, Obama doing the same thing. Yes its always nice to place nice, but we need stuff done and done now. Take off the gloves and crack some skulls. Walk your butt down to Capital Hill and whoop some ass.
We need some people in office who are willing to stand up and stay what is actually on thier mind. I saw the clip of Franken snapping liberman back from continuing his talk after his time had expired. Ok, so maybe Frnaken could have let him... but rules are rules, and then Mccain (who I normally like a lot for being honest) steps up and says "I dont konw what is going on here in this body, but its not good" or something like that. Why are people in Washington so sensitive? Everyone wants to watch thier p's and q's, no one wants to offend anyone. Well sometimes people need to be offended. I honestly think we need to get all the old cronies out of the senant and house. It has been buisness as usual for decades, its time for real change. At least Michelle Bachman says what she is thinking.. even if she is a loon, she doesnt appologize for it...

Start of Something New
Howdy all,
Michael is my name and I am from California. I have decided to start this blog so I could VENT my daily frustration in the hopes that I wont be so irritated all the time.
What you will get from me is my daily rant about this or that. I think this will be mostly theraputic and cathartic in many ways. Being that this is my first real attempt at bloggin I can only assume that I will make a ton of mistakes and not follow the normal curve that has been established by the world of bloggers and blogging.
I am for sure a guy who dances to his own tune, I will not purposefully follow any sort of conventional method with this. Also, I am lucky if I can spell "kat", so if your looking for gramatical/spelling perfection; well you will not find it here.
What will I blog about? Life, Me, my dog, my friends, tv, news, politics, Santa, religion, doctors, ditch diggers and whole slew of things. Nothing is off limits in any way.
I wonder how this will work really? I wonder if people will actually want to read my thoughts or will this simply be another lost page or mindless ramblings on the web?

I am for sure a guy who dances to his own tune, I will not purposefully follow any sort of conventional method with this. Also, I am lucky if I can spell "kat", so if your looking for gramatical/spelling perfection; well you will not find it here.
What will I blog about? Life, Me, my dog, my friends, tv, news, politics, Santa, religion, doctors, ditch diggers and whole slew of things. Nothing is off limits in any way.
I wonder how this will work really? I wonder if people will actually want to read my thoughts or will this simply be another lost page or mindless ramblings on the web?
